Design project
To help you understand what a demo design project should/could look like, we've created a demo design project named 'Solid Angles'. You can find the project listed on the 'work in progress' section on the ImpVis Code environment.
Wiki project page
An example wiki submission for the solid angles visualisation is shown here.
To create your own Wiki project page, follow these steps:
- Find a template for your Wiki project page here.
- Wiki pages are a good way to record information that changes over time, but they are not useful for real-time collaboration: if multiple people edit the page at the same time, problems can occur. We therefore suggest you copy and paste the content of the Wiki project page template to an environment where you can all edit at once (e.g. Google Docs) to collaborate on the contents.
- At regular intervals, e.g. just before or after the timetabled sessions on Mondays, one person copies the content of your collaborative document (e.g. on Google Docs) to your Wiki page, to ensure it has a recent record of your team's progress. Note: to edit your Wiki page, you will need to press the 'Edit' tab at the top of the page; when you are finished editing, press the blue 'Save changes...' button at the top right.
Design exhibition
You can exhibit your design in any way you like, as long as it showcases the design visually and is accompanied by the key justifications of your decisions. This Miro board is an example of a design exhibition submission for the solid angles demo project.
